- Jun 22, 2018 -

Sometimes the foot will sound on the floor, and it will feel good during the day. If you hear the sound in a relatively quiet environment at night, it will make people feel particularly annoyed. Is it due to quality problems?

Actually, there are many reasons for the floor noise, so let's take a closer look at it together. Don't let the quality of the flooring go away.

Floor noise can not be blindly identified as a product quality problem

The basis for assessing the quality of flooring products is the national standard of the product. The standard of laminate flooring currently being implemented is GB/T18102-2007. The inspection items of laminate flooring include appearance quality, processing accuracy and physical and chemical properties.

In the standard, there are no technical specifications and inspection methods for floor noise. Therefore, after the installation of the floor noise, it cannot be considered that there is a problem with the quality of the product. In particular, no noise occurs when the floor is installed and checked. For solid wood flooring, parquet is also the same.

However, from another point of view, before the pavement is installed, if the measured warpage of the floor is too large, after the floor is installed, the noise will be generated by walking on the floor.

The warpage of the floor is beyond the standard deviation of the floor. If the number of exceeding the standard exceeds the requirements of the inspection rules in the standard, it can be determined that there is a problem with the quality of the batch.

This certification process must be completed before paving. Of course there are many other factors that cause floor noise. Therefore, the reason for the floor noise after paving is very complicated. Do not blindly identify product quality problems. Professionals need to be identified.
